Avatar 2 Review: It’s been 13 years since James Cameron’s Avatar was released. The strange new world with exotic flora and fauna, the Na’vi people who lived in perfect harmony with nature, and the entry of human avatars into the world – it all blew our minds. The film’s central plot hinges on human greed. It portrayed them as colonists bent on destroying Unobtanium in their quest to destroy the natural habitat of an alien planet.
Set roughly 13 years after the first film, the current film mirrors the human Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), who by some miracle has become a full-fledged Na’vi and taken over as a war leader following the Document’s return to Pandora.

Avatar: The Way of Water review : Stunning Sequel. My rating : 4/5 Performances : James Cameron is known for getting the optimum out of his cast and crew. All the actors came up with brilliant performances. Jakes Sully standout by showing variations in expressions and emotions. He maintained the same intensity to make an impact. Zoe Saldana, Clif Curtiss, and Kate Winslet blended with him to elevate the scenes with their performances. The actors who played the roles of their children brought in good emotions to complete the story. Technical values : Technically, Avatar-The Way of Water is outstanding. Right from VFX to graphics work everything looks captivating. The 3D effects are stunning and they are not just for the sack of publicity. Each 3D shot has proper research and reason. The Pandora world created is just amazing and is presented superbly deep underwater. Technical brilliance is visible in each and every shot throughout the film. The background score composed by Simon Franglen is arresting and elevates the mood of the film nicely. The photography work by Russell Carpenter is nice. His work registers despite the film having more graphics. The collective editing work done by Stephen E. Rivkin, David Brenner, John Refoua and James Cameron is effective. The production design is stunning and so is the case with the production values Lightstorm Entertainment and TSG Entertainment. For the audience who are watching the Telugu version, the Telugu dialogues written by Srinivas Avasarala elevate the emotional depth of the film decently. The second installment from the creative genius James Cameron’s cinematic universe, Avatar has high making standards. Alongside the magical setup and fictional premise created, Avatar-The Way of Water addresses elements like social equality, civilization and takes a strong anti-military stand. The underlying theme of the film that showcases parents protecting their children and vice versa is conveyed beautifully during the ending portions. On the flip side, the main drawbacks of the film are the thin storyline and lengthy runtime. To summarize, Avatar 2 is a greater cinematic experience that deserves to be watched on Imax 3D screen to witness the grandeur. Highlights : James Cameron Direction Spectacular Visual Effects Stunning Production Design Terrific Cinematography Climax Sequence Drawbacks : Lengthy Runtime Overall : Visual Grandeur.

James Cameron's turn-of-the-decade sequel, based on the 2009 box office record-setting blue world of Pandora is technically tantamount to an absolute masterstroke — and nothing less. Inspired by the perceptive experiences of the visionary filmmaker, “Avatar: The Way of Water” serves up extraordinary 3D features unlike any before, and just like in the original, Cameron deeply utilizes advanced technology to create some stunning high frame rate pictures, that puts out a new feat of visual stimulation. The long-awaited sequel realizes it's roots in the family that ensue after Jake Sully and Ney'tiri bond over a romantic relationship, and unlike the original, “Avatar 2” turns up the tone on a more distinctive exploration of Pandora. With every pulse and vibration from the active non-stop pictures onscreen, to every thump of heartbeat and every resurfacing bubble-of-air, and from every fall of raindrops and rumbles of thunder to the crashes of waves and splashes of wings and tails, “The Way of Water” reveals a genial return to Pandora, but this time Pandora is way more blue and beautiful. If this is what a theatrical version has been intended to look and feel like, then one can only expect the imaginations to be completely awed if, or when an Extended Cut would make it's way out of Cameron's vault, as this odyssey running at over 3 hours of runtime (just to meet ends with theatrical cut standards) doesn't even add-on a lengthy weight to the film's narrative. And speaking of narratives, evidently, a thoroughgoing storytelling touch has never been a strong point in Cameron's filmmaking career, or in either “Avatar” films too. This time the plot encapsulates it's villain — an avatar Na'vi version of the previously deceased Colonel Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang), to apparently be on a ridiculous revenge spree, and sometimes it all becomes too familiar — especially when Cameron blatantly pulls off some signature Titanic moves that viewers would find utterly relatable. “The Way of Water” nearly falls into the trap of mediocre sequels, but it evades such a plummet with the display of fascinating new (Pandora) cultures and dazzling elements that literally only James Cameron could brew up unerringly. The thematic gestures of ‘sentiments’ and the ‘bonds of family’ never gets hackneyed or slack, and it definitely was a flat out privilege to tap into the “private streaming service” of James Cameron's new blue world of Pandora. After 13 years of being in-the-making, indubitably it was worth the wait and this time it ends up pointing the way to an exciting future for “Avatar” and the planet of Pandora. Both loyal fans and regular viewers shouldn't hesitate a titch on seeing such a magnificent spectacle on the big screen because personally, I'm certain James Cameron has unlocked the full measure of his limitless and unbridled potential with this blockbuster. And that's right [Cameron], Oel ngati kameie.

I thought RRR 🎥 and Avatar 2 comes down to be best movies of this year But Such a let down Cameron 😞 you Better take classes from Rajamouli Not a way of Water but The Way of Waste ☹️🙁 In the first film skypeople were in Pandora to mine some metal, now what they are after is basically whale brains that stops humans from aging. The characters have no depth 😮💨 a big problem when it comes to Jake's identical two sons They are impossible to tell apart 🤦♀️ Why waste such beautiful cinematography and amazing CGI for a plotless movie 🤦♂️🤦 The beauty and tension of the first movie is transmogrified into a smorgasbord of scenes including a cruel paraphrasing of a whale hunt Unbelievably long Seems more a recording of a random video game session than something that started with a plot The digital technology that brings us back to Pandora surely is the best technical deployment on film,The first avatar was a surprise and an event, the second opus, thirteen years later, uses the same characters, all of them and their children, resurrected and newborn, to deliver a bad war film, noisy, badly edited, with botched narrative axes🙃🙂 the existence of the General could have been explained better. When there's so much focus on the special effects, than the plot suffers and the most photorealistic CGI ever created but that's it the film has nothing else to offer The plot is laughable Returning villains by Stephen Langz his friend and they have motivations so laughably thin that is ridiculouus it doesn't even make sense 😴😴 Avatar 2009 wasn't exactly a masterpiece of narrative innovation but at least had a decent plot, it was emotional at some points and it wasn't a bad movie. The Way of Water doesn't have anything 💦 won't tire you with a full plot If you're reading this spoiler, you've either already seen the movie or you don't care much about it so let's get straight to the flaws. There are many of them, so fasten your seatbelt🏎️ The protagonist somehow had children, son, who hates him But when he gets kidnapped he's immediately Oh hi daddy and forgets about his genocides until the end of the movie assive advertising will make sure that many people will go see it anyway no matter how bad the reviews Especially kids willu want to see it James Cameron had more than ten years to perfect the script. There were five people credited for making the story of the film, and of those five, three were credited for screenplay 📼 The movie lasts over 3 hours. Don't get me wrong, I'm one of the few people who do not mind seeing a long movie But for that, movie has to have a good script 🍿🥤 The film will remind you repeatedly that you are watching a sequel to Avatar From repeating lines verbatim from the first film 🥱😴🥱 Not sure how else to sum this up James Cameron has done some great films but his Avatar project is just daft. From Titanic Terminator Avatar one to this my god such let down The Most Expensive Screensaver of All Time 🫠😜🤪😝 The worst think of all is that there is no real end result. The main problem wasn't solved, probably so they can have a reason to make a third part. The only moral of this story is to use birth control or get a vasectomy Better watch RRR on netflix again and again rather than this piece of _____ !! All in all, I don't thing I will ever see any avatar again as it cannot "give" you anything at all
After 13 years of longing, James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water had my jaw on the floor the whole time, an insanely ambitious and groundbreaking movie, and a marvel of technical achievement through and through. Mixes Spielbergian wonder with gorgeous underwater visuals, a claustrophobic atmosphere, and the mesmerizing action set-pieces, which holds up really well. Just like the first one, I was really impressed with Sam Worthington Simmonds and Zoe Saldana's performances. The chemistry between them is spot on and each one gets their own time to shine. The story this time is far superior, Cameron fixes the problems the first one had. He weaves an epic cinematic experience. The emotional stakes of the whole story are higher and tenser. The characters are more refined. 3 hours and 12 minutes of run time may be a bit hefty, but its pleasures are deep and satisfying, with rich lore and incredible world-building. It will really be hard to find a blockbuster that will match its emotionality or excitement. All in all, Avatar: The Way of Water is an undeniable technical achievement with its epic score, jaw-dropping scale & breathtaking visuals that are worthy of repeat viewings. I know the ticket rates are high but wait for a week or two but please watch it on the biggest possible screen in IMAX 3D. Its a once in a lifetime experience which you don't want to miss.

But the Giant whale named Payakan is the most super character in chapter 2. Storytelling is long so you may feel impatient and boring but James cameron keeps distracting you with beautiful scenes. Whether its a pandora, or rain scene or underwater(Which looks like another new world) were mesmerizing. Visual effects are unreal. you can see every detail in depth even action scenes too. Super flow without any blur scenes. Acting is topnotch and they have super chemistry. Score and sound design quality is of cameron's quality. They have seen a different communities which exists in their world with different style of living. This is a stunning masterpiece which one has to watch in IMAX or 3D and that too for 3 hrs+. Filmmaking and Storytelling at its best. Magnificent. One extra heart for the production efforts.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
An astonishing achievement in long-form visual effects, but not in storytelling. The first two hours are chocked full of character development. There is a character for almost any age. The only one that held any weight for me was the "a boy and his whale aka tulkun storyline". The whale named Payakan is by far the most interesting character. An astonishing achievement in long-form visual effects, but not in storytelling. The first two hours are chocked full of character development. There is a character for almost any age. The only one that held any weight for me was the "a boy and his whale aka tulkun storyline". The whale named Payakan is by far the most interesting character. I also liked Spider since he made the fewest irritable decisions. The rest of the characters fell flat for me. Although not boring, I found myself becoming impatient, but then Cameron keeps distracting me with something pretty. Even something as simple as the rain in 3D is mind-blowing. This 2-hour character legwork was intended to enhance the emotional attachment for the non-stop action-packed one-hour climax featuring Cameron's signature-style action scene's greatest hits. You will find hints of The Abyss, Titanic, and Aliens even down to the score. The visual effects are unreal. This is, by far, hands down the best 3D ever created for a movie theatre because it was actually filmed in 3D for starters. Plus, with a High Frame Rate, the result must be seen to be believed. The visuals and motion capture are beyond belief. You thought you went to Pandora before, you've seen nothing like this. The high Frame Rate is perfect for this type of project. The action scenes flow with no blur. You can see every detail in every action scene. Top it off on a larger-than-life IMAX screen, everything becomes hyperrealistic. The underwater scenes do not feel like underwater scenes, but like a whole new world. Without the technical achievement, the film is kind of ordinary. The script is serviceable, and the acting works well enough. They all are fantastic actors and have great chemistry, and without them, this could have crashed and burned under the lack of depth of the dialogue. The score and sound design are of premium quality, as Cameron always delivers. Although this film didn't land for me the way I wanted it to, I can still highly recommend it. This is a perfect family film, very inoffensive, and nothing in the story to push any boundaries. Despite all the new names of clans and characters and some plot points that fly by quickly, it's easy enough to understand for any age. Plus, it's the best way to advocate for global warming you could ever ask for. If you get out to one film in cinema this holiday season, pay for Dolby Cinema or IMAX or whatever premium format you can get it in. This will be worth every penny of your experience
*Definitely lives up to the hype* - beautiful continuation of the storyline, growth within characters and a 'natural' progression in their lives. - saw the movie in 4DX and was absolutely stunning, visual effects were beautiful, even without 3D effects, the movie would still be mind blowing, the seasons, animals, Avatars, everything was colourful and immersive. Would not recommend 4DX to people who struggle to focus on a movie, when other factors are effecting you, for example: the chairs vibrate and tilt, the lights flicker during certain action scenes, there are mist sprays when encountering water in the movie, and wind flow as well. - storyline was easy to follow, not boring at all and for a 3 hour and 12 minute movie it definitely was a worry going into it, but it lived up to the hype and even after you feel that you want more, especially given that the movie has come out 13 years after it's predecessor. - Characters are likeable, relatable, and interesting, especially from a sibling point of view, certain scenes hit home and make you feel like they're just a 'normal' family with 'normal people' problems. *Overall Rating* - 5/5 - Have been looking forward to the movie since Avatar first came out, and was not disappointed.

The CGI animation is seamlessly integrated into breathtaking scale and precise details, and the creativity of the scenes with the other-worldly life forms of Pandora set against the advanced technologies of the human sky-people is simply mind-blowing, leaving you to wonder "how the hell did they do that?" This epic masterpiece does need an intermission; however, as 3+ hours is a long pull; and yes, there are story line aspects that can be poked at ... nonetheless, if you want to see one memorable Holiday season movie, I'm giving this one 🍿🍿🍿🍿 ps - we are AMC A+ members so for $24/month (vs per movie!) we see up to 3 movies each week on any format, (IMAX, Dolby, 3D, etc), for no additional charge, and we can cancel on a monthly basis, so it's a good option to consider to stave off dreary winter days.
Absolutely incredible! From my humble opinion, this is way better than the first installment. Everything feels so personal since it centers around the life of Sully Family. It still has the same feels with the first part, but 3x better I would say. Such an astonishing visuals. My personal favorite was the navi's connection to the aquatic life, like it feels emotional and therapeutic at the same time. The visuals really helped in setting the mood and making everything feel surreal!! And also let's talk about the fact that humans ONCE AGAIN proved that they are the worst enemies of earth's nature, which most scenes reflect our reality (e.g. indigenous people losing lands from money/power grabbers). That's it for now, I don't wanna spoil everything. See it for yourself. Take all the lessons that you learned from this movie and apply it to your life because it will definitely navigate you to the right direction. I have no words left to say, just complete awe. Everyone should see this in theaters!! 💗
So I took the the big screen last night to watch Avatar: The Way of Water and figured I'd write this review while it's still fresh off my mind, or if I should get too distracted and absorbed in the following days. I'm a little disappointed with the plot. Not to say it's a disappointing installment, before you start to get discouraged but it wasn't what I was hoping for. And funny enough I don't even know what I was hoping for.😅 Maybe I just needed to sleep on it, who knows.🤷🏾♂️ But consider ...More

And funny enough I don't even know what I was hoping for.😅 Maybe I just needed to sleep on it, who knows.🤷🏾♂️ But considering what we've had so far in 2022 it comes a long way and definitely a cut above the comic book movies.🤢 I wish they could have went a new direction for us to explore more of the Pandora ecosystem. I mean, they tried but chose to focus way more than necessary on the past (events from the first movie) to the point that you can almost feel they don't want to reveal too much with 2 movies still on standby, while also driving the plot forward. I feel that it gives us just enough to have an idea of this new world but c'mon we waited 13 years for just the second movie.🙆🏾♂️ Not gonna lie, I definitely enjoyed myself and those 3 hours go by without you batting an eyelid. The visuals, my God! The visuals!!!😫😫😫😫 Truly captivating. Crazy to think that the budget was only 13 million USD more for them to crank up the visuals to this extent.🤌🏾 Some scenes don't even feel animated, and yes I'm aware some scenes aren't but I'm particularly referring to those that are. VFX technology has come a long way. The cinematography was epic with those action sequences.🙌🏾 The actors did an amazing job expressing their emotions via the motion capture (the last I checked that's what it's referred to), both Sam and Zoe lead you in an emotional depth that highlights the main theme of family and growth. All on all its a beautiful movie, a grounded and reflective/introspective experience. It at least deserves a 7/10.😌 Can't wait for the next one.💪🏾💪🏾
Just came out of the cinema and I already wish I could see it again. The forest scenes were again beautifully done, but the ocean shots just blew my mind. The new creature and environment designs are absolutely stunning, and every single organism is so beautifully animated and looks so real within the environment, it's as if they and this world actually existed. The differences between the forest and ocean Na'vi was also really interesting and had great details such as the different swimming styles! The only thing that upset me a bit was how they spoke very little Na'vi, but I guess that was done in order to not make moviegoers read subtitles and distract from the visuals.

This movie is brilliantly put together stunning views and you really do get sucked into the picture and start to imagine your in the world. I believed for a long time Terminator 2 Judgment Day was the best follow up to a film series but it's hard to say Avatar the way of water hasn't took that title now. I have a feeling James Cameron will create the best ever film series ever made.
Amazing film, James Cameron has really out done himself. I could tell that it was setting up for the films to come (spoiler: the ending is quite open and the protagonists are worse off than when they started) so it's making me even more excited for the next one, shame I have to wait another 2 years. The cgi was absolutely brilliant and very realistic, better than enything I've ever seen before. There were several parallels to the first film like jakes opening monologue, lo'ak and tsireya's love story and the ending scene which is a close up of jakes eyes, this made me nostalgic about the first film. The character of kiri really interested me and I hope that James Cameron delves deeper into her story and the reasoning behind her unusualy strong connection to eywa in the next films. Personally I would have liked a bit more of character development between the sully family as I was a bit disappointed with the way jake was treating lo'ak and nateyam for the majority of the film (treating them like soldiers) and I felt that we didn't get to see a lot of jake and neytiri 's relationship. The acting was amazing throughout and the actors did an amazing job of making the character likable to the audience. I would definitely recommend anyone to go and see it.
This movie was insane. I remember how moving the first Avatar was, & The Way of Water matches if not exceeds its formers high set standards on both graphical and emotional levels. Overall, the 13 year anticipation for the sequel to the highest grossing film of all time was well worth the wait. I strongly recommend everyone experiences this movie in an IMAX theatre, just be prepared for a little over 3 hour runtime. I couldn’t stop watching it. 10/10

The storytelling of this movie is stretched out so you may feel impatient but this movie could only be expressed through a slow burn storyline, and James Cameron’s iconic and beautiful CGI makes it all the more enjoyable. This movie takes you on a journey where you can’t help but feel like a part of the family. The plot is beautiful as it is sad, and it leaves you almost needing more of the emotion and action that is put through these characters. Personally, I think the movie was so enrapturing it felt a lot shorter than 3 hours. Filmmaking and Screenplay at its finest. This movie is a masterpiece that I have to say may even be better than the first one. I strongly encourage you watch Avatar 2: The Way Of Water in theatres, out now.
This movie just visually and soundtrack alone deserves a 9/10. That combined with its dynamic fights, beautiful feelings of culture, life and script brings it all together. Parts of the film literally made me go oh my god when the children were doing something or at critical parts, whether that warrants a better rating or worse I will leave up to interpretation. This movie makes you feel and visually has no shortcomings which is tough to say about a movie in 2022 after a very hard year visually for companies like marvel. Based solely off me wanting to go see the movie again and again already I am going to give this movie atleast a 9.6/10 or a 96/100. I believe that what’s to come from james cameron will be better (avatar 3-6), which makes me excited.

This is an epic movie with so many big moments that finds the space to breathe while slowly building in tension to a fantastic climax. It truly hits nearly every beat perfectly. The ending will leave you wanting even more, which I think was James Cameron's intention, but my one criticism is that this does make the whole movie sort of seem like one extended refusal of the call for our hero. Thankfully, the heart of the Sully clan shines through. A joy to behold, Avatar: The Way of Water is one of the best sequels ever made and a masterpiece of blockbuster storytelling.

This plot mainly revolves around Jake's family seeking sanctuary in the Metkayina clan, also known as the Reef People. The new inclusions in this movie are the additions of Jake and Neytiri's truculent kids, Kiri (Dr Grace's kid), Spider (Colonel Quaritch's kid) and them abandoning the forest to live safely among the Reef people. The antagonist, Colonel Quaritch remains the same in Avatar 2 but this time he is portrayed in his avatar form. The focus shifts from mining Unobtanium to poaching tulkus (a highly intelligent whale) to obtain Amrita, a golden liquid that can stop ageing. The battle scenes between the revengeful Colonel Quaritch and the Sullys were absolutely magical, although they were violent as well. From a 12-year-old's point of view, James Cameron is truly one of the greatest directors and visionaries of our time and I'm looking forward to seeing more wholesome Avatar movies like this one.

Avatar: The Way Of Water delivers just as expected from a James Cameron blockbuster. It showcases the return to the forests of Pandora, including the famous hallelujah mountains shown not just in daytime but also under the moonlight aboard a banshee. The color tones at night exemplifies the recent developments in night capture cameras, which utilizes moonlight to illuminate the surrounding areas. The bioluminescent flora and fauna were also enhanced this time around. The real show starts as the camera dives beneath the waves. Though the underwater terrain is nothing new, with films like Black Panther 2 and Aquaman giving their own unique take, only Avatar 2 gives such detail to world building, leaving you engrossed with the unique fishes and reefs created. The underwater motion capture is impeccable and unrivaled setting precedence for future films. Still, most of the underwater scenes felt unessential to the story and instead acts more of an extended nature documentary. The plot threads along lines of familiarity, with sequences that parallels the first film. Sully and his family are introduced to a new environment, proceed to learn the ropes, and encounter a conflict leading up to the finale. Though there were a lot of new ground covered, it feels like something of a “same old”, “been there done that”, rather than “I didn’t see it coming” type of narrative. Avatar: The Way Of Water is a visual spectacle but leaves much to be desired in terms of storytelling.
NO SPOLIERS - SAFE TO READ Watched a quick you tube catch up video which nicely bought things up to date - necessary imo you cant watch this without a recap or watching the initial Avatar again. Probabbly the only film that justifies a 12 year wait it will blow all your senses away, jaw dropping CGI, immense 3D, individual character development and arcs for the protganisits, makes you want to live in the world the Na'vi inhabit, primordial genesis llike origins of the world all pure green clear ...More

Still 5 stars from me absolutely blew me and the kids away, hyper realsitic and Cameron gets to tinker with his toys that he likes so much ever since Terminator 2 you can see his calling card some amazing futuristic all terrain vehichles, boats, robots etc that are clearly the product of millions in cgi costs. In conclusion watch it! in 4DX if you can!
James Cameron once again proved his worth with this spectacular masterpiece. The visuals are mind-blowing and kept you immerse in the beautiful world of Pandora till the end, I honestly didn’t realise that the clock already hit 3 hours while watching this beautiful movie. The action scenes at the start can be more intense and I felt that they were short needs a little bit of improvement but the finale is breath-taking and in 3D it’s almost like you were there and from my perspective they should’ve included additional creatures in forest scenes because first 50 mins felt like experiencing almost the same 2009 Avatar, But the way of water OMG the cinematography, the Visuals & the creatures are just spectacular. Overall this movie will let you dive deep into the Aquatic world of Pandora and I am eagerly waiting for the other 3 parts as I want to explore more Pandora beauty.
I don’t think anyone would disagree if I say the movie was great since there is absolutely no sign of any disappointment in it, i’m sure all the works that were put in to make this gigantic fantasy movie which is the continuation of the first one, i mean the great avatar that was the predecessor to this one will not go in vain since every tiny bits of it were worth it & i honestly never saw even one single solitary scene that made me go low or totally bored, i mean the it’s the best Hollywood mo ...More

You see people going absolutely crazy for it & no one proclaiming it to be terrible. I salute James Cameron & the whole crew all from the cameraman to workers to actors for making such a wonderful film. They say that all great stories rise from the ground & end up reaching the sky by permanently settling & expanding its territory to the next level & all those ain’t lies because after watching the movie i personally felt very amazed and will not gonna take back my words. My opinions are natural and so are my thoughts, i don’t like to liberate fake thoughts to make it look good to others. My final thoughts about the movie is it is purely well made in all kinds. You all must watch it in theatres only to live the experience. A James Cameron masterpiece. Thank you!
As a fan of beautiful fantasy settings, pandora captured my heart from the first time I watched it, and as the trailer for the second movie comes out, I was completely still, just staring, no jumping out of excitement, no shouting from hype, just watching it as if it stared into my soul. Now that I've watched the movie, I was in pandora, I was with the characters, nothing felt fake regardless of how fictional it is, I forgot that the movie is mostly vfx. Its that feeling of awe and wonder that makes you forget your inside a cinema and puts you in the world and creative mind of James cameron. While I enjoy plot driven movies, the way of water story is very simple, apparently, I forgot how simple it is just because of how immersed I am in every scene, its like I can reach my hand out and the characters would reach back, I was just filled with peace. This movie took its time to make it as beautiful as it can be and it the wait was worth it. This was one of the most unique movie experiences I've ever had and avatar will always have a very special memory in my heart.

The plot is simple- Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) raises a family with Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) and is living a peaceful life in Pandora forests until humans headed by old foe Col. Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang) attack the planet again for colonization. Left with no choice, Jake and his loved ones seek refuge with the Metkayina clan and learn their culture and deep bonding with the sea. James Cameron's vision of creating the Na'vi world is incredible and clap-worthy. The underwater sequences here are breathtakingly beautiful and will leave you spellbound for sure. The near hour climactic fight is another technological advancement for Hollywood and I suspect it will need another Avatar sequel to surpass it. Undoubtedly, The Way of Water is a visual soother. It will make you yearn for more even though the film's runtime exceeds three hours and the basic plot is the conventional "good aliens vs bad humans" type. But its ok. And its awesome. Sometimes, great things are inherently simple yet highly effective. Aren't they?!! Regards, Sumeet Nadkarni.
The craftsmanship of pandora world through CGI techniques completely knocked me out with its spectacular presentation. Have you guys heard about the quote "poetry in motion". That's what I witnessed once the started from 0:00 t0 3:12: hrs. It looked like James Cameron himself sat nearby the CGI team and ensured that each of the frames have been sculpted like fine Burj Khalifa buliding in Dubai Now coming to the cast Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana has done their perfectly. The other performers didn't get much of a scope.Even the antangonizing Stephen lang who threatened the existence of every life form on pandora in the previous avatar movie was just ordinary. Still though when you get the feeling that the plot might could have added some extra work. Once again the theatre screen (3d or IMAX) visuals comes to the rescue and inhibits that feel from your thoughts. So don't miss the opportunity to dive into the water and explore the other ways deep inside the water where highlights of divine creations of the godly visuals along with your closed ones.

Like the first film, it offers a visual spectacle like no other. For nearly two hours with a running time of 192 minutes, you’ll feel as though you’ve immersed yourself in an ocean as you encounter miniature phosphorescent fish and other large and small aquatic creatures that are at odds with our own marine biology share a strange similarity. We also get to see the Sea Tree of Souls, which is located underwater.
There is also a magical, butterfly-like creature that can bond with Na’vi and help them breathe underwater. You’re totally hooked, and seeing it in IMAX 3D really ups the stakes. Full marks to James Cameron for showing another delightful side of Pandora.
The film also serves as a commemorative palace of sorts for Cameron. There are nods to his past hits like Aliens, The Terminator, The Abyss, and even Titanic. From being a story of ruthless colonists who don’t give a two-hoot about the natives or the planet they are destroying, the film becomes a story of personal vengeance.
Quaritch is given carte blanche by the human authorities to kill Sully at any cost. Their encounter, which takes place in the last 20 minutes of the film, resembles a small-scale sea battle.
That’s when the film really picks up. So far, we feel like we’re watching scenes from a quiet, seaside family vacation, then things veer into Apocalypse Now territory, and by the end, we feel like we’re watching the premise of Patriot. The last two films are not from Cameron.
Many questions remain unanswered. We are shown that Kiri Dr. Grace is the daughter of Augustine (Sigourney Weaver), who was killed off in the previous film. But who is his biological father? And how does he have the shaman-like ability to telepathically connect with wildlife both above and below the water? How humans, who have come from Earth to Alpha Centauri,

Lack of technology to make the kind of glass that is not easily pierced by arrows? If our planet’s resources are depleted, how do we still have the money to build spaceships capable of traveling across galaxies?
For amazingly crafted images that make you feel like you are really on an alien planet. The film’s message of loving your family and facing turmoil together will surely appeal to the Indian audience.

Cameron said in 2006 that he would like to make a sequel to Avatar if it was successful, and he announced the first two sequels in 2010 following the widespread success of the first film, with the first sequel targeted for release in 2014. However, in addition to two more sequels, for a total of five Avatar films
The need to develop new technology to capture the film’s performance underwater, which had never been accomplished before, caused significant delays, giving the crew more time to work on writing, preproduction, and visual effects.
The filming process, which took place simultaneously with a currently untitled third film, began on August 15, 2017, in Manhattan Beach, California. Shooting for three years. With an estimated budget of $350–460 million, it is one of the most expensive films ever made.
