The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack will feature Rihanna’s new song “Lift Me Up,” which was created in tribute to Chadwick Boseman. Rihanna co-wrote the song with Thames, producer Ludwig Göransson, and director Ryan Coogler. “Lift Me Up” arrives on October 28 and is Rihanna’s first new single in six years, since the 2016 song “Sledgehammer” which appeared on the Star Trek Beyond soundtrack. Rihanna, who gave birth to her first child earlier this year, has taken a break from music to focus on her business and her family.
