They face a dangerous new enemy in Namor, played by Tenoch Huerta. Like Killmonger, Namor is not your average villain. His villainous origin story is complex and deeply layered. Tenoch controls each of his scenes. He’s about to take Hollywood by storm and deserves all the praise.

There’s a lot of action in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, On Land and Sea. Physical combat is unique in the Black Panther sequel. Danai Gurira’s Okoye has a particular fight scene that is just brutal hand-to-hand combat. It’s thrilling to see it unfold.

Director Ryan Coogler skillfully uses elements of land, air, and sea to capture fight scenes, unexpected attacks, and quiet, intimate moments. Each set is crafted with care and honesty, even the tensest action sequences. The big Black Panther isn’t in a hurry to reveal. The scene is more than earning.

But we can’t talk about Black Panther: Wakanda Forever without talking about the women of Wakanda. Angela Bassett is a force to be reckoned with as Ramonda, a woman who could have been broken by the loss in her life, but faces adversity.

Danai almost stole the show as Okoye. Dora Milaje’s staunchly loyal head helps carry many of the emotional moments in the film, but she also delights with moments of vibrancy.

Dominic Thorne made his debut as Riri Williams, aka Ironheart, and he is a gem. She could easily get lost in this phenomenal cast,

But she holds her own with these Marvel heavyweights. It’s the perfect introduction to a character we’ll see a lot more of in the MCU. Lupita Nyong’o is always going to deliver an all-star performance, and her nakiya is the film’s silent force.

All eyes have been on him since Black Panther: Wakanda Forever debuted. The pressure on Letitia cannot be underestimated, and she navigates it beautifully. The film is ultimately a chronicle of Shuri’s grief, and Letitia embodies the anger and confusion we all feel when we lose someone we love.

Grief isn’t something you can measure or fix in a lab, which Shuri has to learn. Life’s unfairness could have thrown her down, but Shuri rises from the ashes of her suffering.

Wakanda Forever could have easily collapsed in the wake of such a tragedy, but the entire cast and crew have created a compelling and emotional tale of grief, resilience, and hope. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever isn’t just another notch in Marvel’s belt.

The film is a grand tribute to Chadwick’s legacy and a wonderful experience for all. You will be feeling the impact of this film long after you leave the theatre. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be released in theaters on November 11.
