Universal Pictures has released a new featurette for its upcoming horror film Halloween Ends, a tribute to the final appearance of Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, about what audiences can expect from Michael’s final film. and Myers Horror Franchise.
Welcome back, Laurie Strode. He gave it all, his heart, his soul, his blood. Because Michael returns, the series finale will be bloody and dramatic. The clip features brief glimpses of Jamie doing the hair and makeup, joking around with the film crew, and bidding farewell to the cast and crew. It would be hard to say goodbye to Laurie Strode. Curtis said tearfully at the end of the feature.
Curtis has portrayed Laurie Strode for nearly 45 years. The Halloween franchise is one of the oldest horror film franchises in film history, and her portrayal of Laurie is one of the longest examples that a character has been portrayed by the same actor. The original Halloween was released in 1978, and since then several films have starred Curtis.
A remake of the original film was released in 2018, which relaunched the popularity of the franchise and broke box office records. The second film, Halloween Kills, debuted in 2021 and picked up right where the first film left off. Halloween Finish is the third and final film in the Restoration and will portray Strode and Myers grappling with it to a terrifying conclusion.
Halloween Ends was announced at the same time as the sequel in July 2019, changing the original plan due to whatever has happened since that announcement.
Wrote the screenplay with Danny McBride as he did on Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills. Paul Brad Logan and Chris Bernier have also co-wrote the screenplay, while John Carpenter is apparently executive producer and back on board for the score.

Halloween ends release date
Halloween Ends will release in theaters on October 14, 2022. Originally, Halloween Ends was scheduled to be released on October 15, 2021, but in July 2020, Carpenter announced the postponement of the Halloween Kills release date to October 16, 2020.
Like Halloween Kills, the new film will release in the US on the same day as Peacock, but a simultaneous digital release in the UK is not expected.

Universal recently dropped the second trailer for Halloween Ends – Halloween (1978) The third and final chapter in the Laurie Strode vs. Michael Myers trilogy. While all parties acknowledge that Halloween could do something with IP, it is being sold as the end of the line for this specific narrative.
The Rise of Skywalker was not sold as the end of Star Wars but as the end of the Skywalker Saga. Ditto Avengers: Endgame is not the end of the MCU but of Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff, and Steve Roger’s respective arcs. If every upcoming Star Wars show or movie sequel takes place before the trilogy events, then Star Wars: Episode IX will mark the end of the line, but I digress.
