Shelley Long has seen hanging out with a Chihuahua on October 19. Shelley Long made a rare appearance as she stepped out in Los Angeles with her beloved dog. The Cheers icon, 73, was seen wearing a casual pink turtleneck with her beloved Chihuahua on Wednesday, October 19. She wore a black vest on top, which was teamed with a casual pair of gray sweatpants.

Shelley completed her look with a keyed baseball cap and smart sneakers, as well as a pair of wire frame glasses, in images obtained by The New York Post. About a year ago, she was spotted on a similar walk with a puppy.

Shelley is best known for her role as sweet but retarded waitress Diane Chambers on Cheers, which she starred in from 1982 – 1987. Notably left the series after five seasons, however, as the iconic show ran for 11 years – finally ending in 1993.
