Vin Diesel recently revealed he’s working on a Marvel movie that Marvel Studios is interested in developing a Planet X film, possibly starring his beloved Groot character. Via his hugely popular Instagram account (currently 83 million followers and counting), Vin Diesel posted a photo of baby Groot relaxing in a pool in the classic “Cucumber Slice Over Eyes” relaxation pose. The caption added that Vin Diesel’s niece recently thanked him for making the Disney+ series of I’m Groot shorts, followed by “no wonder Marvel wants to make a Planet X movie.”
Vin Diesel has been playing the role of Groot for the Marvel Cinematic Universe since the first Guardians of the Galaxy film in 2014, quickly becoming a fan-favorite character despite being entirely CGI and only a line of “I’m Groot” Is.
